I was having a discussion about beer with a woman who told me she thinks of the best light beers, Guinness is the best. Now before you jump to conclusions, this woman, under 40, is calorie conscious and happens to not be a big beer drinker but more of a vodka fan. I was not only impressed but having recently listed the best light beers with Guinness as #1, I was wondering if there was the slightest chance she read my blog. Well, no chance, but when she is being calorie conscious and is looking for satisfaction with an alcoholic beverage, she list Guinness as #1 in the best light beers list. I concur, and see Guinness as the obvious choice for being the best light of beers because it taste good, it is satisfying (you know you drank a real beer) and it is somewhat filling (especially compared to beers with the light labels on them). So here's to Guinness, #1 in the list of the best light beers!
